JULIETMIA YOGA.
"The practice of yoga brings us face to face with the extraordinary complexity of our own being" SRI AUROBINDO.

About Me.

How and why did I become a Yoga Teacher are questions I often hear . My career as Registered General Nurse ended when I became a mother and foster carer link to-  Ten years ago I was running my own company supporting and enabling individuals with additional needs in their own homes .The greatest challenge my clients faced was mobility and strength , having practiced Yoga myself I knew this was a complete system which would give older or disabled people the safety and confidence to live full, active and safe lives in their own homes and community. I decided to explore the possibility of Yoga Teacher Training and as luck would have it I found a local in person course run by Dru Yoga and within three years I was qualified. My intention had never been to teach but during my course the teaching practice and assessments excited  and fascinated me. I took my knowledge to my clients and was delighted to empower them with greater mobility and fitness , it really worked . As a student Yoga Teacher I had to teach classes to qualify and I continued after graduation . In 2020 I decided I wanted to teach Yoga full time and so here I am Juliet Johnson Yoga Teacher! I took post grad courses in Back Care and Mental Health and built up classes and one to one clients.
